Who is Kidzy?
Kidzy works with children roughly 5 to 14 and the parents and caregivers raising them. The focus is habits — food, movement, sleep and screen time — built in small steps that fit a real family week. There are no diets, no weighing and no meal plans to follow, and families never have to give up their cultural food. In-person sessions run in Ottawa, and online programs are open to families anywhere in Canada.
That message is gentle, and it is easy to lose on a busy website. Our job was to keep it front and centre.
Why an Ottawa family brand needs a website that feels local
Ottawa is a city of young families. Barrhaven, Kanata, Orléans, Riverside South and the neighbourhoods around Kidzy's home base in south Ottawa are full of parents juggling school runs, hockey practice and long winters indoors. The design follows Kidzy's colourful logo: a soft turquoise-to-green background, rounded type and warm, everyday family photography.
